As a qualified boiler maker I have always enjoyed welding and fabrication. With the majority of my working years spent in the quarrying/mining industry, I was always inspired by the shapes and texture of the metal and stone I worked with every day. Over the years have progressed from traditional art mediums to combine these inspirations and skills in metal, wood and stone sculptures.
I never begin with or follow a plan, I simply have an idea that evolves and changes as I sift through various pieces of metal or wood.
