STUART HOERISCH
Stuart grew up in Nuriootpa and now resides in Kapunda. His creative urge has seen him become an arts teacher (since 1993) and practicing artist.
He, was Artist of the month at the CASA Newland Gallery in 2006 and has exhibited at Pikes Wines, Whistler Wines, Salon Rouge, The Barossa Regional Gallery, Shutterbug Studios, Waikerie Institute, Kabminye Wines, Blue Bush Underground, Courthouse Gallery, Yorke’s Surfarama, Greenock Creek Tavern, Owen Arms hotel, Vintners Bar and Grill and Lambert Wines. Stuart is currently serving a third consecutive year exhibiting at Hentley Farm Wines and Restaurant.
Stuart’s unique style has seen him acknowledged with several merits and prizes, selling locally, interstate and internationally. Stuart has officially open exhibitions for Nikolas de Masi, Aaron “Simon” Simonson, Jacquline Pomery and the SALA 2017 exhibition at Kapunda Community Gallery. He has been involved in The Fringe Festival, SALA, Barossa Vintage Festival, the Balaklava Cup and Barossa Gourmet Weekend. He has co-curated exhibitions, has judged and hung group and solo exhibitions.
