JACQUELINE COATES
Jacqueline moved to Kapunda 2001, to renovate a double storey stone barn and paint and bring up two young children, and has grown a large international art teaching practice teaching acrylics with her trademarked Blooms Painting Method and oils with her Freedom to Paint workshops. Jacqueline has also created a highly successful one year mentored painting program and an online e-class series.
To support the live-in components for students, Jacqueline has created two gorgeous accommodations - A Barn in the Barossa and The Mill House on Baker Street.
Jacqueline is a co-owner of 'One White Kite Cafe' in Kapunda, an art filled cafe which assists with feeding the visiting students. And finally, she has created Salon Rouge Art Gallery at 19 Carrington Street Kapunda as her own arts creative hub and gallery. The Gallery has been open for the past 7 years and has exhibited both visiting as well as local artists, and now operates as her workshop hub.
